Our Review

The Royal Terrace Hotel offers a wonderful chance to savour the historical elegance of the Georgian era, just a few steps from the modern designer boutiques of Princes Street and its surroundings. It is also very rare among Edinburgh hotels in having its own private, landscaped garden, where you can sit out during the summer months and savour a pre-dinner cocktail after a hard day’s sightseeing.

Excellent service... friendly staff ... The Staff in the hotel were excellent... Good service in dining room... Staff in general pleasant and helpful... One duty manager most unpleasant ... Very friendly and helpful staff made all the difference... Nothing was too much trouble... Room service delivery forgotten part of the order.Front desk not very welcoming.... staff evern better nothing was to much trouble!... very welcoming and helpful staff.... GOOD SEVICE,... complained to reception advised no other rooms avilable (staff no help at all).... No heating in the room asked for 3 days for this to be rectified to no avail.... Staff were generally friendly,... Very nice hotel and staff....
