Our Review

The Royal Terrace Hotel offers a wonderful chance to savour the historical elegance of the Georgian era, just a few steps from the modern designer boutiques of Princes Street and its surroundings. It is also very rare among Edinburgh hotels in having its own private, landscaped garden, where you can sit out during the summer months and savour a pre-dinner cocktail after a hard day’s sightseeing.

Car Parking ... The hotel does not have it's own parking, but there is on-street parking with meters. Or there is car park (NCP) within 10 minutes' walk. Cost per 24 hours is approximately £13.

     Has a small indoor pool, sauna & steam room ...             Nice little pool, sauna and gym...             Good service in dining room...             Pleasant areas for relaxing ...             Restaurant not tried but the menu looked limited and was repetitive both days...             Disappointed with the pool...             it was advertised as a leisure facility but not this size pool....             make sure you check about the parking (for a hotel like this the parking is totaly unacceptable)...             parking was a pain....             Resurant expensive for what we got,...             IT BOOSTS ALL THE FACILITIES INCLUDING HEALTH SUITE /SWIMING POOL...             THE GARDEN, REAR PATIO IS A QUIET PLACE TO RELAX....             Food in restaurant was very good,...             in particular dinner which was served with style....             Good to have pool, turkish and sauna facilities....
