Nice clean, well run hotel. Handy for city centre and all usual local facilities. Although not an issue for me wheelchair access a bit limited but this is primarily due to the location of the entrance. however concierges' particularly George, more than able and willing to give assistance. Excellent breakfast as one would expect and a decent cup of coffee, an absolute must to keep you going! Restaurant prices are standard city centre prices so no real shocks there. Rooms clean and tidy but if you want to watch tv there is a limited number of channels and reception is a bit iffy on some. that being said there are foreign language channels plus some radio stations so not all bad. BTOpenzone internet available throughout the hotel but not sure if its chargeable as I have a BT a/c and accessed it for free. reasonable speed for a shared connection usually running ar 3-4 MBps. Overall a good experience and I would certainly return. There are a limited number of car parking spaces, charged, I think, at £15 a day. Probably best to park at hotel if driving there and use buses/taxis as Edinburgh is a complete nightmare to drive around, worse than it's ever been.

It's Scotland's capital city with all the history and heritage that brings. far too much to even begin to describe what's actually available.Museums however are free admission except for specific exhibitions and if you're with kids the Museum of Childhood on the Royal Mile is a must if only yo show your kids what you played with as a kid. Brings back many happy memories. Just Google "things to do in Edinburgh and pick and choose from there.
