Our Review

A late-Victorian property in the heart of Edinburgh, the Carlton Hotel sits on North Bridge, opposite Waverley Station and a stone’s throw from Princes Street. Given the building’s historic status, the rooms do tend to vary in size and layout, but they’re all sumptuously decorated. You can avail yourself of a wide range of facilities including a bar, a brasserie and a leisure club with pool.

staff friendly,... some staff were wonderful ... staff are very friendly ... staff very helpful.... staff were very friendly and most helpful. ... The reception staff very helpful and polite.... Service at breakfast was poor... Kind of service expected in Travel Lodge, but not a hotel of this kind... Receptionist was extremely helpful and actually upgraded our room... make sure that if you talk to reception that they make a note of your needs on computer ...
